Separate Advice From Authority

List the resources and actions your workflow can touch. Give reading data, proposing an action, and executing that action distinct permissions. Verify the requester’s authority when the job is accepted and again immediately before execution; treat text from documents, messages, and model responses as untrusted input, not as permission. If NexoToken AI model API access is useful for drafting a proposed action, send only the data needed for that task and validate the proposal against your own allowed-action rules. Consult the current main platform documentation for integration details rather than assuming an endpoint or response format.

Make Queue State and Idempotency Explicit

Store a request identifier, intended target, authorization basis, proposed side effect, and queue state with each job. Define allowed state transitions before workers process jobs. Derive a stable idempotency key from the business intent, then check for an existing in-progress or completed operation before executing. In a hypothetical customer-preference update, a duplicate delivery should point to the existing operation instead of initiating another update. Run your own duplicate-submission and interrupted-worker checks, and record what actually happens. If the worker cannot establish whether the update took effect, move the job to an uncertain state rather than retrying blindly.

Require Review Where Consequences Warrant It

Set review criteria for actions such as changing access, exposing sensitive information, or sending external communications. Show the reviewer the original request, exact proposed action, target, permission basis, and unresolved uncertainty. Bind an approval to that specific proposal; if material details change, require a new decision. For example, suppose a queued outbound message acquires a different recipient after approval. The earlier approval must not authorize the changed send. Test a changed proposal, a revoked reviewer permission, and a rejected request in your own environment. If the review record is incomplete, keep the job pending instead of treating silence as approval.

Bound Retries and Preserve Evidence

Retry only failures you have classified as safe to repeat, with a defined attempt limit and delay. Distinguish a confirmed non-execution from an unknown outcome: for the latter, inspect the destination system’s actual state before choosing a retry or human investigation. Stop at the limit and retain the reason for failure. Log authorization checks, queue transitions, review decisions, execution attempts, and the final disposition without recording unnecessary secrets. Run success, rejection, duplicate-delivery, and unknown-outcome scenarios, then document the observed results rather than assuming the design works. NexoToken account platform credits and usage history may help reconcile model use, but neither establishes that a downstream business action succeeded.
